I’m Gabriel, I was born in Oakland, California in the 80s and moved New York City when I was an infant and have been living there ever since.  This is my story about taking risks.  Obviously there are different ways one can take risks, I’ve taken my own in the past two years traveling to different countries by myself unannounced.  I’ve always wanted to travel around the world ever since I was a teenager, but for some time, I could not muster the courage to do it all by myself.

When I first started, I was a bit frightened, everything didn’t always go according to plan, but at the end it all worked out.  What I’ve learned from traveling alone have gone beyond travel and has helped me improve at other aspects in my life.  I have found myself coming closer to the person I want to be.

The intention of this blog is encourage you to take your first step away from the things that hold you back.  I will be sharing with you all my experiences and will introduce you all to the people I’ve met on my trips that I now call friends. From my entries, I hope you’ll see how things will get better if you make the effort to make a change.  Come roll with me!
